those commercials links different things to the concept of happiness. they link the product they promote to this concept by making people believe that each of those product can , in a way, bring you on the way toward happiness. some are quite funny as the one on sausages with the little girl. and we also can suppose that those commercials have not all been created at the same period, what shows that the concept of happiness has evolved .
I like it the last pub make me feel good. These pub can create happiness. They product an effect of people. I don'it like particulary pub, because i think they try to make fun of the people. They try to create happiness in order to buy product.Advertising is a form of communication who purpose is to fix the attention of a target, to induce the desired behavior: buying a product of a political election. it's a commercial. tac tic. But advertising may in some case be good. The vast majority of advertisers are businesses to museums and other cultural institutions to increase their frequentation. Advertising serves also to governments to promote difficult topics that the media speak little or poor, road protection, heritage promotion, promotion professional equality between men and women. It can be used to pass messages. For example, publicity against drug abuse.
I think that today we are constantly looking for happiness. The creators of advertising know that and use this concept of happiness in order to sell their products. In fact, advertising is only a lie ! Even if some ads make me laugh, it does not make me want to buy these products !
I think these commercials were funny. It's speak a little quickly for me. But I understand the concept of happiness thanks to these commcercials because advertisings and commercials give us many feelings (laugh, disgust, envious, ...). Commercials exist to feel people better, to forget daily's problems. People knows that the commercials are a lie but they have an hops to feel better. We don't forget the business intention and profit but sometimes commercials are having fun! But it's my mind!
Ho sorry, I must precise, I was speaking about the Bud Light commercial. i found it so funny! i guess that everybody, and espacially every men have, in a certain way, that kind of relationship with their beer. Oh Man, Beer can be a place to rest when you are tired, it can be a confident when you are sad hahaha! Smart was the idea to associate the feeling of wellness with the pleasure felt by grabbing a bottle of beer... even if the promotion of alcohol remains off course questionable...
Nothing to do with hapiness, but I have found a nice commercial over there : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X21mJh6j9i4 (Yeah sorry I have nothing to comment on those ads...)
Brands use the concept of happiness to sell their products. They want to persuade consumers that their life will be better with their products. I think it is unrealistic to believe that an object can chage our life and make us happier.
The question that comes to looking at these ads is: If the consumer is not fooled face advertising strategies, even if it is rather critical, why videos like those, they work? An advertisement that makes you laugh it is selling more?
